R&R

After working hard, the team will have a chance to experience Ghanian culture and celebrate the trip's work with the R&R portion of the trip. The team will determine their itinerary but options that exist in the Central Region are:

Elmina Slave Castle & Cape Coast Slave Castle - part of our world's history, these Castles housed and shipped out many of the slaves from Africa to Brazil, the Caribbean, and North America. Tour the castles, the dungeons, and the museums which share the story of the slaves. This grim part of our collective past holds many lessons and linkages between our continents.

Canopy Walk at teh Kakum National Park - your opportunity for a bird's eye view of a tropical rainforest

Brenu Beach - a secluded beach tucked away from Cape Coast where the team can relax and swim until sunset
Elmina town & Cape Coast - vibrant fishing harbour and historic towns where you can enjoy local culture and marketplaces
