Facts about HFH Romania & Beius:
- Founded in 1996, HFH Beius was the first affiliate in Romania.
- Since 1996, 7 new HFH affiliates have been created throughout the country of Romania.
- In 1999, HFH Romania held the 'Eclipse Build,' completing the build of 9 new homes in a span of 10 days that coincided with a solar eclipse.
- In 2007, HFH Romania orchestrated the build of 27 homes throughout the country in just 5 days with the help of 650 volunteers during the 'EuroHabitat Build' campaign.
- To date, HFH Beius has helped over 150 families in the Bihor region, and HFH Romania has worked with over 1,600 families throughout the country.
- In 2010, HFH Beius will assist 50 families with 20 new homes and 30 rehabs.
- In the entire country, HFH will help 584 families achieve decent living conditions
